Laundry done, shopping done, blood test done, dinner reservations made, Cece walked, trunk reorganized, garbage out... Nap Not Done ZZZZZ'S. Until tomorrow gang. January 20th got up at a reasonable hour took the convertible into the French Quarter and spent a good portion of the day there a great lunch really nice weather and the little sightseeing. CC was wonderful she behaved like a little lady and she is the hit of every place we go. People can't seem to pass her by without rubbing behind the ears or getting a kiss. She loves it as well. Okay so it's dinner time Joanee having a Cajun scampi and I am having Yumbo Mumbo Gumbo from a small place called Rons Gumbo Shop outside of New Orleans and it is rated 4.8 out of 5 from numerous people. This to yet be determined I shall let you know after dinner. Dinner was great Ron's gumbo shop was fabulous. We are now in a state park south of New Orleans chillin and getting things done. Went to an outdoor Fish Market and picked up fresh shrimp and ousters practically off the boat. Planning the menu for this evening. Attaching some pictures the last couple of days New Orleans has been great. On the road again after a new inverter was put in so we can run our house batteries we hit the road leaving the best restaurant town we've had so far. Heading east on interstate 10 towards mobile just entered Mississippi. Headed towards Pensacola and then on to Apalachicola. Going to drink some Coca Cola suck down some oysters. January 24th made it to Panama City Beach. Did some shopping in a beautiful shopping area called Pier Park and went back to the place we've been to before Dusty's oyster shack for fabulous oysters four different ways, fried clams etc etc and a drink that is poured for the person who claims to have had only one drink at least 24 ounces. Back to the coach to pass out from a food coma. January 26 at Wildwood Florida Alliance coach works to discuss interior design and redecorating and a more comfy living quarter. Setting up a schedule to meet the kids in South Florida on the 10th spend some time with Alex and Erika and Carol. From here before the 10th we are going to plan on going to the Tampa area and visit some of our favorite restaurants. Will keep all posted on our progress. At the Brownwood town square enjoying open air music on stage after a bit of thirst quenching at World of Beers. Nice little town in Wildwood Florida. Planning on moving out Monday or Tuesday to Tampa area. Until then a relaxing weekend in northern Florida.

So December 18th Joanee's back and we are back on the road. Having spent some great time with my little cuz Joe Riekers in Rockwall Texas, they are great and I truly hope at this year will bring them some joy and happiness after a really tough year. Everything on the coach was taken care of what a great company outside of Dallas, National Indoor RV Center. We made it through Shreveport Louisiana and there now planning our time here in New Orleans. Joanee will be off to visit an old friend in New Orleans you may know them Harrah's Casino. I'm going to spend some time with total strangers watching what will hopefully be some great football. We took a little hiatus in Texas I got a lot of things accomplished and Joanee was in Boston getting the batteries recharged. Great start to a new year.

The New Year starts. Late start to the day but did laundry and met Georgie Riekers , Joey our cuz and Toni and kids. Great dinner with extended family then back home. Headed to Dallas tomorrow. In Dallas chillin waiting to have service done on Monday. Joanee leaving for Boston on the 8th for a week. The 8th has come and gone. My coach is getting a lot of TLC and fixing changing correcting mucho stuff. In the mean time dinner last night with Joe and family. Then car in to get worked on. Doing my bit to keep the economy healthy. Putting my fare share back in. Joanee in Boston in two hours where it's supposed to be around minus 2. She'll come running back after the kiddies warm her up. Dec 10th BORING... Joanee in Boston me and my Cece in Dallas. Babysitting my RV while they take care of all the stuff. Nothing to report will continue our journey when Joanee returns.

Winter solstice typical Sunday Joanee went out to pick up a few things I'm home watching a very disinteresting Jets Giants afternoon whether they win or lose this has been a terrible season may be better off going shopping. December 23rd Joanee and I had a great dinner last night at Bella on the Riverwalk in San Antonio. Food was wonderful service was even better except for people walking by checking out what you're eating while seated on the riverbank. Very impressed with the Riverwalk in San Antonio great attraction a nice place to walk and great restaurants. Shrimped our tonight with 2 lbs of jumbo shrimp in a homemade sauce nothing else. Getting ready for a movie and Chinese dinner Christmas day, what else. It's the day after christmas and all through the rv no one is stirring except cece to pee. thought I'd throw in a little humor. Headed to corpus christi weather is supposed to be nasty meeting up with joe and family. On the beach in corpus christi and the weather is nasty. Rain supposed to be for the next few days. December 28th left the federal park in corpus christi on padre island headed up the coast. Currently in corpus christi along the beach and the mansions rival Palm Springs. Beautiful twenty thirty million dollar homes overlooking the gulf in corpus christi harbor. Headed towards Dallas but not for a little while yet since Dallas is in the freeze that the rest of the country is in. We are staying away from the polar vortex. Had a few very restful days on the beach on Padre Island listening to the rain pitter patter on the roof. Now it's time for some Sun. December 28th and who says you can't have good food in an RV. Just picked up some large lump meat crab and attached all the crab cakes being made for dinner tonight. If nothing else we enjoy our food. New years eve day ...COLD ... WINDY...RAINY...NASTY... even Cece doesn't want to walk outside. So Happy healthy New Year to all and may all your wishes be granted for you and your family in 2015. C u in the new year from Dallas.
