December 20th at the Riverwalk mall and the Riverwalk experience in downtown San Antonio Texas. What a beautiful place lovely walks and a great tourist attraction. Joanne and I had lunch here and she's in her glory I'm sitting and recharging my batteries while she's shopping herself silly. Joanee and I just had a great afternoon on the Riverwalk in San Antonio. One small complication after 4 hours of visiting the Riverwalk and a lovely lunch and joanee did some shopping etc etc we lost our car. To clarify a bit we took a parking spot in a lot in a hotel and the elevator to the Riverwalk was directly below us in the parking lot. 4 hours later we were on the other side of the Riverwalk and lo and behold no elevator in the same spot. So wouldn't you know the elevator on the opposite side takes us to the street level somewhere where we did not know and the Riverwalk does not follow the street. We became that well known Indian tribe called the "wherethefuckarewe" . It took us a half hour meandering the streets and using the map program to identify the parking lot and the GPS to try and find where we started from because we did not put the GPS coordinates in the phone when we parked which would have been the intelligent thing to do. That dreaded disease CRS really takes hold at some point in your life.

Last we spoke we were in NM well here we go again. December 11th sitting at the Draft Station Bar overlooking the central plaza of Santa Fe New Mexico. Comfortable place cute little town Cece loves it the entire center of town is grass so she has plenty of places to go. Local craft beers and specialty pizzas so lunch is good. A walk around town cute little expensive shops very artsy very quaint but very nice. December 12th Friday so call me chicken but when my house is on wheels I run from the storms. Joanee and I are sitting in Cracker Barrel in El Paso Texas we left New Mexico because the weather was supposed to be in the twenties with a 40 percent chance of snow storms. We don't do snow in our new life so we headed south and here we are in southwest Texas having dinner in a much more tolerable climate. December 13th headed out of El Paso on the way to San Antonio and the Alamo. Too long for a single days drive so we will be stopping somewhere Midway. Weather here is much better sunny a little humid but in the high 60 low 70 no snow in the forecast yay. So driving west texas on my way to the Alamo no pictures will be forthcoming because there is absolutely nothing to take pictures of in west texas. Just checked in to Braunig Lake RV Resort just south of San Antonio Texas will spend a number of days here remembering the Alamo and other sites and then anticipating heading south to the gulf around Corpus Christi or Galveston. So here we are south of San Antonio in a little city called Elmendorf looking out at a very grey sky dreary weather and a good day to stay in. Our plans are still too go south to the Gulf but joanee is planning on visiting the kids in January for a week while I take care of some things in Dallas. We are trying to spend a day or two before Christmas at the Riverwalk in San Antonio. We have been told its beautiful and a nice place to stroll.

December 4th in Mesa Arizona real rain that Cece and joanee and I haven't seen in a few years and I love it it was the perfect morning to make a bowl of oatmeal put on your sweats kick your feet up and so far I've gotten absolutely nothing accomplished. Didn't plan it that way its just happening. Probably nothing more to write for the remainder of the day except that we're meeting Karen Glasser in Scottsdale for dinner she's here for a wedding. December 8th Monday finishing our stay in Mesa Arizona and headed out tomorrow Albuquerque New Mexico. Had a great stay in Mesa and enjoyed Arizona enough to come back next year. December 9th left Mesa Arizona sunny headed towards Albuquerque with a stop over night in Gallup New Mexico all I could say aboutthe drive through NE Az is uuuugggly. Gallup is a decent place to stop but we're only staying overnight will hit Albuquerque tomorrow already made reservations at a campsite and we'll do some sightseeing and gallivanting around in Santa Fe etc. It is 48 degrees feels like 40 totally overcast really nasty but its a travel day and that's fine. joanee breaking out her flannels I may actually put on the heat. Good morning from Gallup New Mexico not very happy campers year because it is 27 feels like 23 93 percent humidity and totally overcast I can't even get Sun on my solar panels. Joanee and I are going to be talking about whether we continue to Albuquerque where it's supposed to be between 36 and 57... Doable, or turn the coach around and let it roll down hill to the Gulf of Mexico. More to come later burrrr!

Still better than owning a 3800 sq ft home. Minimal life style is working out. Starting to enjoy. Good chx dinner veggies and a nice conversation with our baby in Boston. Love her so much. Until tomorrow. GN. Just finished skyping with the Boston crew and they look wonderful enjoying pizza for dinner. Can't wait to get there and squeeze those little heads and I want new little grandbaby Clayton. Having solar put on my coach so we can spend time off grid in the woods with lions and tigers and bears oh my. Weather very overcast but no rain yet. I'm trying to put in my coordinates for the kiddies to track us but I don't know if it'll work or not so excuse me if you get gibberish.
